Algeria coach beef up squad for Nigeria match
Algeria coach Georges Leekens has fortified his squad with six additional players ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Nigeria Saturday, November 12, in Uyo.

Leekens had earlier on Tuesday released a list of 18 foreign-based professionals for the game which include top stars like Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani, Sofiane Feghouli, Yacine Brahimi and Nabil Bentaleb.
The Belgian on Thursday replaced injured Adam Ounas and included two more foreign professionals while adding four players from the Tunisian league.
Anderlecht of Belgium striker, Sofianne Hanni, replaced Bordeaux of France’s Adam Ounas with Angers of France striker, Jean Mehdi Tahrat, also getting invitation.
The four local league players are two goalkeepers – Malik Asselah (JS Kabylie), Chemseddine Rahmani (MO Bejaia) as well as defenders Houari Ferhani (JSK) and Mohamed Khoutir Ziti (ES Setif).
Meanwhile, Leicester City record signing Islam Slimani is expected to lead the Algerian national team frontline when they trade tackles with Nigeria on November 12 in Uyo.
The striker was left out of the Foxes team that forced FC Copenhagen to a goalless draw last night only as a precaution, with manager Claudio Ranieri confirming that he was rested for the game at Parken.
