Kasper Schmeichel has paid tribute to Claudio Ranieri after he was axed by Leicester on Thursday.
The Italian led the Foxes to the title but was given the boot nine months later after a disastrous run of form that leaves them hovering above the Premier League drop zone.
However, keeper Schmeichel has taken to social media to thank Ranieri for his efforts at the King Power Stadium.
He posted a picture of the pair on Instagram, along with the caption: "I would like to thank Claudio for everything he's done for Leicester City Football Club, and for me personally.
